Warfield Point Park

So, my granny's church had a big party at Warfield Point Park last Sunday. It was my granny's church and three other churchs. It was my first time really looking at the BIG WATER that mama and granny called the Mississippi River. I would really have liked to take a bath in that water and I tried making a break for it a few times but either mama or daddy always caught me.

THIS IS MAMA'S FAVORITE PICTURES. I MADE A BREAK FOR THE BIG WATER AND DADDY TURNED ME BACK AROUND. SO I DECIDED TO SWING ON THE ROPES FOR A LITTLE WHILE. THERE WAS A SIGN THAT SAID I WASN'T SUPPOSED TO BE PAST THESE ROPES. OOOOPS!

SO MY BRU TOOK ME TO SLIDE DOWN THE SLIDING BOARD. IT WAS SOOOO MUCH FUN!

AND NOW WE GOT TO GO ON THE MERRY GO ROUND. BRU IS SILLY AND WAS TRYING TO SPIN AND CATCH THE FOOTBALL AT THE SAME TIME.
THE MERRY GO ROUND IS SO MUCH FUN. MAMA PUSHED ME AND IT GOES ROUND AND ROUND AND ROUND AND ROUND.

BRU DID NOT CATCH THIS FOOTBALL BUT HE CAUGHT THE NEXT ONE! I LOVE MY BRU!

ANOTHER PICTURE THAT MAMA SAYS IS SO SO CUTE. I LIKED PLAYING IN THE LEAVES UNDER THE TREE. LEAVES ARE FALLING EVERYWHERE AND IT WAS FUN TO TRY AND CATCH THEM AND SIT IN THEM.

I ATE CHICKEN AND GREEN BEANS AND POTATO SALAD BUT I HAVE TO SAY THAT MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE WAS A LIME GREEN JELLO SALAD WITH COOL WHIP AND MARSHMALLOWS. I ALSO LIKED A PEACH PUDDING MADE LIKE BANANA PUDDING BUT WITH PEACHES INSTEAD. REALLY REALLY YUMMMY!

So family will understand this the most but just now John and I noticed that it was too quiet, where is Ariel?????

Okay back story, since Ariel-Layne was born so close to Vietnam and because of the way the back of her head looks, mama has joked that she is daddy reincarnated. It's just an ongoing statement because of the way she looks and acts at times.

Well just now I think we have changed our minds. Ariel-Layne isn't daddy reincarnated, but BEANIE!!!!! Family will understand just by looking at the pictures below. For friends I'll explain under the pictures.





Beanie is my grandmother, my mom's mom and she lived with mama ever since grandaddy died in 1991. Well as everyone who knew Beanie knows you did not go anywhere or do anything when Wheel of Fortune was on. Beanie lived until the ripe old age of 92 and NEVER EVER stopped watching Wheel of Fortune. So tonight, when Ariel-Layne got quiet, we found her fascinated with Wheel of Fortune. Hummm, Beanie are you here, LOL!

Mommy talking today!

Friday night was Ariel-Layne's first Homecoming at GCS! I have to honestly say that I love this Senior Class even more than John-Cole's class. John-Cole has always been better friends with this class then his own and I adore these kids. I hate to see them go but have such hopes for them in the future because they are honestly some of the best kids I know!

In the first picture are our three Homecoming Maids. Charlie, Mallorey and Lauren. This picture shoes exactly how they are together. They are best friends. There is no jealousy between them, no pettiness, just friendship. All three of them are wonderful girls and so funny. I just adore them! Charlie, in the blue is our Queen this year and the best part is that Mallorey and Lauren couldn't be happier for her. There are a bunch of teenagers out there who could take lessons from these three!


This is probably my new favorite picture ever! John-Cole after the game with Ariel-Layne! My babies! Yes John-Cole would kill me if I said that to his face but I don't care. These two are my life!

The next two pictures are of John-Cole getting ready to kick and then making an extra point. It's kind of hard to see the football in the second picture but it was good!!!! I'm so proud of him. He is really excelling in kicking and it's something that he loves!!!! Oh, John-Cole is #81.

And Here we have Ariel-Layne in the group shot before the Homecoming dance, ha ha! She wanted to be a part of the picture. It was very very past her bedtime here! Can you tell the kids all love her?
And finally John-Cole and Morgan before the dance. These two have been best friends forever! We did win our Homecoming game against Sharkey! See you all soon!

MY DADDY FINALLY GOT OUTSIDE YESTERDAY AND CLEANED UP MY TOYS THAT WERE OUT THERE! HE BROUGHT TWO OF THEM INSIDE AND I HAD A BALL PALYING WITH THEM. HERE ARE SOME NEW PICTURES OF ME PLAYING IN MY TOYS!

What's been going on with me the past week or so!

Hi Everyone!

So you all want to know what has been going on with me the last week or so? Well lets see, I have to say that I love going to my bru's football games! They are so much fun. I absolutely love cheering with the cheerleaders! It's so much fun!

You know what else is fun? WALKING! I have this walking thing down pat now! I can go everywhere and I'm even trying my best at running! I love going to the bowling lanes because it is such a big big building and so many places to walk. I love throwing the balls too and I love clapping for my daddy and my Uncle Randal!

Do you want me to tell you about my obsessions? Well my mama's laptop is one of them. I love pulling on it and trying to mash the buttons. Mama says "No No and Stop" Well guess what? I can say "No No and Stop" too. I know I'm not supposed to bother the laptop but it's so much fun and even though mama tells me no she never does anything to make me stop except puts the computer up so it must not be that bad! I also LOVE the telephone. Mama just gives it to me and lets me play with it. She told daddy that she hates talking on the phone anyway so if I have it and it's off the hook she won't have to talk! That works out well for both of us!!

New words I have learned are "No, Stop, Meg, and Give me." I also know what my mama is saying when she asks me where my bottle is. I know what give love is and also what giving a kiss is. My best thing is to sing though. I know what singing is and I LOVE to do it! I sing all the time! I also talk and talk and talk and talk although people don't always know what I'm saying. Mama says I'm so smart and getting smarter everyday!

I'm still on my awesome schedule. I usually go to sleep around 10:30 at night and I'll sleep until between 9:30 and 10:30 every morning. Then I eat at 11:30, have my stinky butt 20 minutes later, play and play and then take a nap at 2:45-3:30. Then I play and play and my Granny and Daddy come home and I eat supper at 6:30 then play some more and fight with my Bru until bedtime. I'm such a good girl.

Mommy said to say she is sorry that there aren't any new pictures this time. We have some coming in from Olan-Mills and a few from Wal-Mart but daddy has to hook the scanner back up for mommy to be able to post them. We promise new pictures soon though!

Pictures Mama Took!

My Mama says that this very first picture is her absolute favorite. I don't know why all I'm doing is hugging my Brou. Mama says to look at the love in my Brou's eyes. I do love him too!

I wasn't very happy in most of these pictures. I was ready to go home so I could WALK but mommy and daddy just didn't get it! I can't wait till I can talk! Mommy says these pictures are still beautiful though!

I'M WALKING!!!!!


I'm not scared anymore and I figured it all out TODAY! Now I can't get enough of it! It's soooo much fun! Watch out mama and daddy I'm ON THE MOVE!!!!

So, today was a very busy day! Mama woke me up early around 9 o'clock. I didn't like that one bit as I sleep until at least 10 every morning. Anyway we then went to the mall to a place called Olan Mills. Let me tell you all I DON'T LIKE THAT PLACE! Everyone kept making funny noises at me and shaking all these stuffed toys and bells. I wasn't having ANY OF IT! My Brou tried to make me happy by sitting in the floor with me but I hated this long dress that mama put on me and I wanted to play and not look at the bright flashing lights! It was NOT fun!

So next Mama says it was my first birthday party. We rode to Leland where we got my cake. Let me tell you it was a BIG cake!!!! Mama says the cake is absolutely gorgeous!!! So we go to the bowling lanes and Mama and Daddy give me this little bitty cake all to myself. Oh wow it was YUMMMY!!!!! They let me use my hands and I dug in! Mama took lots of pictures of it! So then I was holding on to the table walking around it when I saw something really interesting across the room. So I just let go and walked to it. Let me tell you this walking is FUN and EASY!!!!!!!!! I can do it now, I really can!

Then Mama took me to the park on the levee to take more pictures. I did NOT want to do this. Mama told daddy she got a few good ones before I started screaming that I want to go home!

See what Mama and Daddy and Brou and Granny didn't understand is that when I got home I was ready to WALK!!!!! Brou put together my birthday present which is this big box like thing full of balls! How much fun! Brou (John-Cole) got in with me and we played earthquake with the balls. Then I climbed out all by myself and started walking. I walked all over the den. Mama says that the official date that I stared walking is TODAY, September 20th! How ironic that today is also my Beanie's birthday! I sure wish I could have met her.
Anyway it's time to get off here and go WALK some more. I'm soooo cool!!!!
