What's been going on with me the past week or so!

Hi Everyone!

So you all want to know what has been going on with me the last week or so? Well lets see, I have to say that I love going to my bru's football games! They are so much fun. I absolutely love cheering with the cheerleaders! It's so much fun!

You know what else is fun? WALKING! I have this walking thing down pat now! I can go everywhere and I'm even trying my best at running! I love going to the bowling lanes because it is such a big big building and so many places to walk. I love throwing the balls too and I love clapping for my daddy and my Uncle Randal!

Do you want me to tell you about my obsessions? Well my mama's laptop is one of them. I love pulling on it and trying to mash the buttons. Mama says "No No and Stop" Well guess what? I can say "No No and Stop" too. I know I'm not supposed to bother the laptop but it's so much fun and even though mama tells me no she never does anything to make me stop except puts the computer up so it must not be that bad! I also LOVE the telephone. Mama just gives it to me and lets me play with it. She told daddy that she hates talking on the phone anyway so if I have it and it's off the hook she won't have to talk! That works out well for both of us!!

New words I have learned are "No, Stop, Meg, and Give me." I also know what my mama is saying when she asks me where my bottle is. I know what give love is and also what giving a kiss is. My best thing is to sing though. I know what singing is and I LOVE to do it! I sing all the time! I also talk and talk and talk and talk although people don't always know what I'm saying. Mama says I'm so smart and getting smarter everyday!

I'm still on my awesome schedule. I usually go to sleep around 10:30 at night and I'll sleep until between 9:30 and 10:30 every morning. Then I eat at 11:30, have my stinky butt 20 minutes later, play and play and then take a nap at 2:45-3:30. Then I play and play and my Granny and Daddy come home and I eat supper at 6:30 then play some more and fight with my Bru until bedtime. I'm such a good girl.

Mommy said to say she is sorry that there aren't any new pictures this time. We have some coming in from Olan-Mills and a few from Wal-Mart but daddy has to hook the scanner back up for mommy to be able to post them. We promise new pictures soon though!

Pictures Mama Took!

My Mama says that this very first picture is her absolute favorite. I don't know why all I'm doing is hugging my Brou. Mama says to look at the love in my Brou's eyes. I do love him too!

I wasn't very happy in most of these pictures. I was ready to go home so I could WALK but mommy and daddy just didn't get it! I can't wait till I can talk! Mommy says these pictures are still beautiful though!

I'M WALKING!!!!!


I'm not scared anymore and I figured it all out TODAY! Now I can't get enough of it! It's soooo much fun! Watch out mama and daddy I'm ON THE MOVE!!!!

So, today was a very busy day! Mama woke me up early around 9 o'clock. I didn't like that one bit as I sleep until at least 10 every morning. Anyway we then went to the mall to a place called Olan Mills. Let me tell you all I DON'T LIKE THAT PLACE! Everyone kept making funny noises at me and shaking all these stuffed toys and bells. I wasn't having ANY OF IT! My Brou tried to make me happy by sitting in the floor with me but I hated this long dress that mama put on me and I wanted to play and not look at the bright flashing lights! It was NOT fun!

So next Mama says it was my first birthday party. We rode to Leland where we got my cake. Let me tell you it was a BIG cake!!!! Mama says the cake is absolutely gorgeous!!! So we go to the bowling lanes and Mama and Daddy give me this little bitty cake all to myself. Oh wow it was YUMMMY!!!!! They let me use my hands and I dug in! Mama took lots of pictures of it! So then I was holding on to the table walking around it when I saw something really interesting across the room. So I just let go and walked to it. Let me tell you this walking is FUN and EASY!!!!!!!!! I can do it now, I really can!

Then Mama took me to the park on the levee to take more pictures. I did NOT want to do this. Mama told daddy she got a few good ones before I started screaming that I want to go home!

See what Mama and Daddy and Brou and Granny didn't understand is that when I got home I was ready to WALK!!!!! Brou put together my birthday present which is this big box like thing full of balls! How much fun! Brou (John-Cole) got in with me and we played earthquake with the balls. Then I climbed out all by myself and started walking. I walked all over the den. Mama says that the official date that I stared walking is TODAY, September 20th! How ironic that today is also my Beanie's birthday! I sure wish I could have met her.
Anyway it's time to get off here and go WALK some more. I'm soooo cool!!!!

So I decided to be a little difficult today!

Ha! I decided to be difficult for my mommy today! I decided to first wake mama up by hitting her in the face. Of course mommy woke up and kissed me. Humm that didn't annoy mama so I decided to see what else I could do. Mama turned on the T.V. and there was some show where they said "Big Bucks, No Whammy's!" It was kind of interesting so I decided to watch a little bit of it. After about 10 minutes I decided I wanted to go downstairs so I screamed and made my bite bite sound (Smacking her lips and saying bite). So mama gets me and down the stairs we go.
Well let me tell you, eating this same baby food over and over is getting old! Plus mama always waits to give me the good stuff last. Well boy did I get her today! She sat me down and opened that ORANGE stuff! Yuck!!!! DO YOU EAT ORANGE STUFF???? Well I watched and as soon as she brought that spoon to my mouth I knocked it out of her hand! She said my name a little sternly and she said "No No" but then she kissed me on my head. DANG IT she still isn't mad at me! She finally gave me that thing with all the buttons on it. I love playing with that thing and messing up the T.V. so I decided to eat. I'm telling you that orange stuff isn't that good but I knew afterwards I would get the WHITE STUFF!!!! YUM!!!! So I finished my Orange Stuff (Vegetable Beef)! Well to me it looked like mama was going to try and give me more Orange so ha ha I knocked the whole bottle out of her hand!!! Want to hear something funny? The dog grabbed the bottle of Orange Stuff and ran up under Granny's bed with it. Ha ha!!!! That'll teach mama I don't want all that yucky orange stuff.
So finally mama gives me my white stuff (Apples and Vanilla). It's so so yummy! I was really a good girl the entire time I ate that.
So then my daddy comes home!!!! I know if I yell he'll pick me up and it works every time.
Uh-OOOOO what's that smell???? Uh-OOOOO daddy smells it too! I need to scream and distract him! Uh-OOOO he knows!!!!!!! Dang it I have to lay down and be still! I'm going to scream LOUD!!!!!!!!
Whew that's over! Humm I want my baby! Where is my baby???? I'm going to scream some more! Why is mama taking pictures of me screaming? I'm trying to be difficult!! Why are they smiling and laughing at me! I want my baby!!!!
FINALLY! Daddy gives me my baby but not before mama took pictures. Wonder what she's going to do with those????
Oh and I overheard mama saying that we were going to Brother's football game tonight and it's over an hour away!!!! Oh fun, wonder what I'm going to get into next????

Ariel-Layne is ONE today!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ARIEL-LAYNE!

It's funny I decided to start this blog on Ariel-Layne's first birthday but what better time? Not only did her citizenship papers come in today but she turned 1! According to the note that was left with her she was born at 5:50 a.m. on September 18th 2007!

Ariel has been home with us for 4 weeks tomorrow and things are going wonderfully! She has adjusted perfectly to her new time zone and is an absolute love! She sleeps all night long without waking up and sometimes even sleeps until 11:00! Wow! Just like John-Cole!

We have learned quite a few things in our 6 weeks together! The very first thing that she learned was taught to her by her granny and that was patty cake! Now when you tell her to patty cake she claps her hands. She has also learned how to blow a kiss. She also knows that that the cat says "meow!" Words besides meow that she is saying is "Mama" "Da Da" "Bru (brother)" "Gra (Granny)" "No-No" "Bye-Bye" and of course "Meow" Oh and how could I forget "Bite-Bite!" She loves to eat and although mayonaise was tricky the first time she now likes it.

She has her first cold and it's driving her crazy! Of course living in the Delta what do you expect!

I think the funniest thing she does is running from John-Cole. He drives her crazy but she loves him so much! He will get in the floor with her and chase her and she giggles like crazy! It's such a joy! We are having her birthday this Saturday and of course I'll have tons more pictures!!
